ABSTRACT
This paper proposes a Virtual-Physical bidirectional interaction system for connecting virtual user and physical user in an asymmetric XR environment. The proposed system is developed to implement the asymmetric XR experience <Treasure Hunter>, designed based on key storytelling elements for asymmetric environment, aiming to enhance the immersion and presence of both users. Unlike previous studies focusing on interaction in co-located environments or collaboration in industrial settings, this research distinctively integrates narrative and technical elements in asymmetric remote environments. It is expected to contribute to the design of future XR content and the development of integrated online-offline user experiences.
